MISFIT is a multi-layered, time-bending novel that weaves together ancient mysticism, futuristic advancements, and the search for identity.

In 699 AD, a young girl named Mabu stumbles upon the hidden Binju civilization, an isolated yet highly advanced society that thrives on nature’s energy and ancient wisdom. She is taken in as one of their own, but she soon discovers the dark power of the soul stone, an artifact capable of preserving life or consuming souls. Trained in both healing and forbidden magic, Mabu unknowingly sets in motion events that will echo through centuries.

Fast-forward to the 20th and 21st centuries (1948, 2019), where fragments of the Binju’s forgotten legacy resurface. Scholars, war survivors, and historians attempt to piece together the mystery of an ancient people who seemingly vanished without a trace—unaware that one of their own may still walk among them.

In 4300 AD, Kuzo, a teenager living in Geeces—one of the most technologically advanced African nations—begins to unravel the truth about his mother, Maiandra. When an attempted assassination on his life leads to a shocking revelation, Kuzo is thrust into a battle between those who seek to control the soul stone and those who wish to destroy it. As the forces of ancient magic collide with futuristic science, Kuzo must confront the echoes of a past he barely understands in order to protect his future.

Blending elements of African mythology, futuristic sci-fi, and historical fantasy, MISFIT explores destiny, power, and the eternal struggle between those who guard knowledge and those who seek to exploit it.
